Are you ready for Thanksgiving? We sure can not wait to dive into all the food! I'll be completely honest, I am getting some help from Honey Baked Ham (making a turkey is way out of my skill level.) But I do plan on making some side dishes including these dog treats for Teddy. He has been eating more pumpkin since he has had some tummy issues recently. It's a simple recipe made from pumpkin puree, peanut butter, and oatmeal/oat flour. It took me 10 minutes to make and get them in the oven. Couldn't get easier!
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Oat Flour (Take oatmeal and grind it to a flour consistency)
1/2 cup Oatmeal whole
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Pumpkin Puree (not Pumpkin pie filling)
1 large Egg
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350F
Mix all your wet ingredients in a large bowl: Peanut Butter, Egg, Pumpkin Puree.
Slowly mix in Oat Flour and Whole Oatmeal.
Add Cinnamon.
Use more flour if your batter is too wet.
Roll out batter on a well floured counter.
Use Cookie Cutter of choice to cut out cookies.
Bake at 350 for 15-20minutes.
Cool before serving.
